5-Week Low Intermediate Speaking Course ($250)

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS?
You can somewhat comfortably make common complex sentences: and, but, if, in order to, so (because), etc.
You can talk about experiences and hopes : ~아/어 보다, ~아/어야 되다, ~(으)면 안 되다, ~고 싶다, etc.
You studied the complex sentences and different endings but need to practice them in conversations.
You want to learn to use proper expressions to discuss certain topics.

PLACEMENT INTERVIEWS:
There will be a mini interview to determine if this is the right level for you.
If you took my high beginneR course, you don’t have to have an interview.
A few weeks prior to the start date, you will receive an email to sign up for the interview.

CLASS TIME: Saturday 11AM Eastern US (Sunday 1AM Korea)
FIRST DATE: Feb 17th, 2024  (Feb 18th KST)
LAST DATE: Mar 16th, 2024 (Mar17th KST)

• How long is each class?               90 minutes, once a week!
• How many students are there?    About 10 people!
• Will you provide materials?         Yes, PDF course book and PPT with answer keys!
• Where is the class going to be?  Google MEET or ZOOM! You will get an email with the link!

THIS CLASS IS CONDUCTED IN KOREAN TO IMPROVE YOUR LISTENING AND SPEAKING.
(I will mix with English if necessary, but I will mostly speak in Korean accommodated to your proficiency.)

Course Weekly Plans
WEEK 1 (2/17 EST) : 경험, 옛날 이야기하기 (~던, ~고는 하다, related vocab, etc.)
WEEK 2 (2/24 EST): 1주 리뷰/연습 + 한국어로 드라마 이야기하기 (~다는/라는, related vocab, etc.)
WEEK 3 (3/2 EST): 2주 리뷰/연습 + 명절 문화 이야기하기 (~나요/(으)ㄴ가요, related vocab, etc.)
WEEK 4 (3/9 EST): 3주 리뷰/연습 + 문화 차이 이야기하기
WEEK 5 (3/16 EST): 4주 리뷰/연습 + 마무리(wrap-up)

• Each week starts with reviewing the materials from the previous week.
• With more complicated ways of discussing various topics, it takes longer to digest: review and preview!
• Each week’s materials will carry over to the following week as review, practice to improve retention.
• There will be listening + speaking/writing homework after WEEKS 1,2,3,4 classes, and you will receive 1:1 feedback!
