5-Week High Beginner Course ($250)

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS?
You can understand and answer simple questions about daily activities in present (~아/어요), past (~았/었어요), probability (~(으)ㄹ 거예요).
You want to learn how to make complex sentences as well as diverse sentence endings such as experience, obligation, reasoning, etc.

PLACEMENT INTERVIEWS:
There will be a mini interview to determine if this is the right level for you.
If you took my beginning course, you do not have to sign up for this interview because I know you learned the pre-requisite materials.
1-2 weeks prior to the start date, you will receive an email to sign up for the interview.

CLASS TIME: Friday 7PM Eastern US (Saturday 9AM Korea)
FIRST DATE: Feb 16th, 2024 Eastern (Feb 17th, KST)
LAST DATE: Mar 15th, 2024 Eastern (Mar 16th KST)

• How long is each class?               90 minutes, once a week!
• How many students are there?    About 10 people!
• Will you provide materials?         Yes, PDF course book and PPT with answer keys!
• Where is the class going to be?  GOOGLE MEET OR ZOOM! You will get an email with the link!

Course Weekly Plans
WEEK 1 (2/16 EST) : Simple question warm-up review, ~고(and), ~고 싶다, ~고 있다
WEEK 2 (2/23 EST): ~지만(however), experience ~아/어 보다
WEEK 3 (3/1 EST): reasons ~아/어서 vs ~(으)니까
WEEK 4 (3/8 EST): ~(으)ㄴ/는 + Noun
WEEK 5 (3/15 EST): ~(으)ㄴ데/는데(but) + permission / prohibition

• Each week starts with reviewing the materials from the previous week.
• There will be listening + speaking/writing homework after WEEKS 1,2,3,4 classes for your review.
• I give 1:1 feedback to your speaking and writing homework!
