5-Week High Beginner Conversation Kit Course ($250)

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS?
You can understand and answer simple questions about daily activities in present (~아/어요), past (~았/었어요), probability (~(으)ㄹ 거예요).
You want to learn practical expression for step-by-step real-life conversation with understanding of core grammar patterns in them.
You want to learn different sentence endings for reactions and responses used in daily conversation.

PLACEMENT INTERVIEW:
If this is your first class with me, I will send out an email to schedule your placement interview.
This is NOT a test, so please don’t feel pressure!
It is to help you choose the most suitable level to maximize your learning without it being too challenging or easy.

You have already taken my high beginner grammar course?
You can still take this because this class covers different materials!
I recommend this to people who don’t feel like you are ready for low intermediate course yet but want to learn more high beginning level materials.

SCHEDULE: Sundays 10AM – 11:30AM Eastern (New York)

  Always! You will receive PDF course book, class recordings, and PPT slides used in class!
• Is there homework?
  Yes! For this higher level course, it will be one big topic for you to talk freely about rather than small broken-up questions.
  You will submit both spoken and written forms to receive individual feedback weekly.

• How long is each class?   
  90 minutes, once a week!

THIS CLASS IS CONDUCTED IN KOREAN TO IMPROVE YOUR LISTENING AND SPEAKING.
(I will mix with English if necessary, but I will mostly speak in Korean accommodated to your proficiency.)

Course Weekly Plans
W1 : How to order food and coffee [includes: ~(으)ㄹ게요 vs (으)ㄹ 거예요, 주다 vs 드리다, etc.]
W2 : Expressions for shopping and paying [includes: honorific ending ~(으)세요]
W3 : Asking and giving directions [includes: vocab for direction and transportation]
W4 : Reacting in Korean [includes: ~네요, ~다, ~겠~]
W5 : ~(으)ㄴ/는 것 같아요 + different usages of ~(으)ㄴ/는데

• Each week starts with reviewing the materials from the previous week.
• With more complicated ways of discussing various topics, it takes longer to digest: review and preview!
• Each week’s materials will carry over to the following week as review, practice to improve retention.
• There will be listening + speaking/writing homework after WEEKS 1,2,3,4 classes, and you will receive 1:1 feedback!
