BASIC VOWELS

HOW TO MAKE [y-] DIPHTHONGS

Read the following words made of vowels only

VOWEL PRINCIPLE IN CELL PHONE WORLD

Remember all the Korean vowels are made of three elements: ㅡ, ㅣ, ·  ?
When cell phones first came out, Koreans phones had a unique system for typing with number keypads.

See the three elements of human, heaven, earth?
We used these to make all 21 vowels in the text!

If you press ㅣ+ · + · , it makes the vowel ㅑ.
If you press ㅇ + ㅡ + ·, it makes the syllable 우.
Phones automatically place vowels with ㅡ under consonants and vowels with ㅣ next to consonants.
